Aternos alternative

A paid Aternos alternative without start queues

Aternos is a useful free option for occasional play. YiorasHost is for Java Edition groups that would rather pay for allocated resources, no start queue or idle shutdown, and access to their server files.

The short answer

Free convenience or paid control

Choose Aternos when paying nothing matters most and your group is comfortable starting the server when needed. Consider YiorasHost when the world should remain available without an Aternos-style capacity queue or automatic idle shutdown.

This is not a claim that paid hosting is right for everyone. A small group that plays occasionally may be completely happy with Aternos.

FAQ

Aternos and YiorasHost questions

Is YiorasHost free like Aternos?

No. Aternos is free, while YiorasHost is a paid monthly service. The paid plan provides allocated server resources, no start queue or automatic idle shutdown, and file access through the panel and SFTP.

Why would I move from Aternos to paid Minecraft hosting?

A paid server can make sense when waiting in a start queue, automatic shutdown while nobody is playing, or restricted file access gets in the way. If those limits do not bother your group, a free Aternos server may still be the better fit.

Can I move my existing Aternos world?

Aternos provides a world download. Before ordering, tell YiorasHost support the world version and server software so we can confirm compatibility and explain the safest upload path.

Does YiorasHost support Minecraft Bedrock Edition?

Not as a current hosting product. YiorasHost plans are for Minecraft Java Edition. Aternos supports both Java and Bedrock servers, so Aternos is the more suitable choice if a dedicated Bedrock server is required.

Do both services support plugins and mods?

Both provide tools for supported add-ons. Aternos uses a curated library and does not provide FTP access. YiorasHost includes panel tools for supported software, plugins and modpacks, plus panel file access and SFTP for server files.

Choose the option that matches how your group plays

Stay with free hosting if its limits work for you. Choose a paid plan when persistent availability and file access are worth the monthly cost.
