Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Yioras Host for the game-server hosting services sold at yiorashost.com and provided through panel.yiorashost.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by:
Georgios Koikas, sole trader (ελεύθερος επαγγελματίας)
Olympionikon 19, 20200 Kiato, Korinthia, Greece
Tax ID (ΑΦΜ): 171419432
Email: support@yiorashost.com · Phone: +30 694 735 3025 ·
Support: yiorashost.com/tickets
"Yioras Host", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the trader above. "You" and "your" refer to the account holder. The support ticket system, the email address and the phone number above are our points of contact for customers, the public and authorities alike.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase the Service. If you are between 15 and 18, a parent or legal guardian must create or approve the account, accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service. The Service is not offered to persons under 15.
- Registration details (name, email address, country) must be accurate and kept up to date — we use them for invoicing and service notices.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately via a support ticket if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. The Service
- Each plan provides a Minecraft game server with the memory (RAM), storage, backup slots and database allowance listed on its product page, managed through our web panel with SFTP and console access.
- Servers are provisioned automatically after payment, normally within minutes.
- Plans include a free
yourname.yiorashost.comsubdomain (see section 6), one-click version/software switching, and network-level (L3/L4) DDoS mitigation provided by our data-center provider. Mitigation is included as-is; no absolute protection against attacks is or can be guaranteed. - You can upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time (see section 8).
4. Fair use of resources
RAM is dedicated to your server and never oversold. Player slots are not artificially limited. CPU, storage I/O and network are shared, and "unlimited" features are subject to fair use: usage that persistently degrades the experience of other customers on the same machine (for example sustained maximum CPU from non-gameplay workloads, or storage used as a general file dump unrelated to the game server) is not permitted. If your usage becomes a problem we will contact you first wherever reasonably possible before taking action under section 11.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only to run game servers and directly related tooling, lawfully. In particular you must not use the Service to:
- store, run or distribute unlawful content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights or the privacy of others;
- attack, scan or disrupt networks or systems (including running "booter"/DDoS tools or participating in attacks);
- mine cryptocurrency or run other non-game compute workloads;
- distribute malware, operate phishing pages, or send spam;
- run open proxies, VPN exit nodes or anonymisation relays;
- resell the Service or provide it to third parties as your own hosting product without our prior written agreement (inviting players to your server is of course fine — that is what it is for);
- violate the licence terms of the software you run, including the Minecraft EULA for Minecraft servers.
You are responsible for the content on your server and for how your community uses it, including compliance with the game publisher's rules if you monetise your server.
6. Subdomains
Free subdomains under yiorashost.com are provided per server on a first-come,
first-served basis for as long as your service is active. Names that are offensive, misleading
(for example impersonating other brands or our own official pages) or infringe third-party rights
may be refused or reclaimed. Subdomains are released when the service is terminated.
7. Reporting illegal content or abuse
If you believe a server hosted with us contains or distributes illegal content, or is being used abusively, report it via a support ticket or by email to support@yiorashost.com. Please include:
- the server address and where exactly the content or behaviour can be seen;
- a description of it and an explanation of why you consider it illegal;
- your name and email address so we can follow up (not required for reports concerning offences of sexual abuse or exploitation);
- a statement that you believe, in good faith, that your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt of your report without undue delay, review it in good faith and objectively, and notify you of our decision, including how to contest it if you disagree. Where a report is substantiated we may remove content, suspend the server or terminate the account (section 11), and we inform the affected customer of the decision and the reasons unless the law prevents it. This mechanism is provided in line with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
8. Prices, billing and payment
- Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — renewal prices are the same as the advertised price; we do not offer teaser first-month rates that increase later.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing cycle you chose (monthly or quarterly) until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Renewal invoices are issued about 7 days before the due date, with a reminder about 3 days before. If an invoice remains unpaid, the server may be suspended about 2 days after the due date and terminated — with all its data deleted — 14 days after the due date. Pay the open invoice while suspended and the server comes back with its data intact.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are billed pro-rata; downgrades credit the price difference to your account balance. Downgrading below your world's disk usage can prevent the server from starting — check sizes first.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (currently Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers.
9. Refunds and right of withdrawal
New customers get a 7-day money-back guarantee on their first order, and EU consumers additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Both are explained in the Refund & Withdrawal Policy, which is part of these Terms.
10. Backups and your data
- Plans include self-service backup slots. Backups are stored on our hosting infrastructure — they protect against everyday mistakes (a corrupted world, a bad plugin), not against the loss of the infrastructure itself.
- Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. You can download your world and backups at any time via the panel or SFTP.
- When a service is terminated — by you, by non-payment (section 8) or under section 11 — its server files, databases and backups are deleted and cannot be recovered. Export your data first.
11. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate a service, after warning you where reasonably possible, if you materially breach these Terms (including the acceptable-use rules), if an invoice remains unpaid per section 8, or if we are required to by law or by our infrastructure provider.
- In serious cases — ongoing attacks, clearly illegal content, non-payment risk to other customers — we may suspend first and notify you immediately after.
- You may terminate at any time from your dashboard. Section 10 applies to your data; the Refund & Withdrawal Policy governs any refund.
- We may discontinue the Service as a whole with at least 30 days' notice, refunding any prepaid period beyond the shutdown date.
12. Availability
We aim for the Service to be available continuously and publish our live status openly, but we do not promise a specific uptime percentage. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible and scheduled outside peak hours. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and the public internet, which we do not control.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for harm caused to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Greek law — and nothing in them limits your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that:
- we are liable only for damage caused by our fault, and not for indirect or consequential damage (such as lost profits of a monetised server community) that was not reasonably foreseeable;
- our total liability arising from the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim;
- we are not liable for loss of data you could have prevented by keeping your own copies as section 10 asks you to.
14. Intellectual property
Your worlds, configurations and other content you upload remain yours; you grant us only the technical rights needed to host and back them up. Our panel, store, themes and documentation remain ours. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB / Microsoft; Yioras Host is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft.
15. Your players' personal data (data-processing terms)
If people play on your server, their personal data (usernames, UUIDs, IP addresses, chat and plugin data) ends up in files we host for you. Where you act as the data controller for that community — for example a public or monetised server — we process this data on your behalf, and this section is our data-processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR:
- We process the data only to provide, back up and support the Service — your configuration of the server through the panel constitutes your documented instructions.
- Access on our side is limited to persons bound by confidentiality, and we apply the security measures described in the Privacy Policy.
- You authorise the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy; we update that list before adding new ones, and if you object you may terminate the service.
- Taking into account the nature of hosting, we assist you reasonably with data-subject requests and your GDPR security and notification obligations, and we notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach affecting your data.
- On termination the data is deleted per section 10 — export anything you need first. We make available the information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with this section.
What runs on your server and what data it collects is your decision; being transparent with your community about logging and plugins you add is your responsibility.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example for new features or legal requirements. For material changes we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not agree you can terminate before the new Terms apply. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always at yiorashost.com/legal/terms/.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (including under Law 2251/1994 for Greek consumers), nor of any jurisdictional rights you have under EU or Greek law — which generally means you may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live. For customers acting in the course of a business, the courts of Corinth, Greece have exclusive jurisdiction.
If we cannot resolve a dispute together — please try a support ticket first, it almost always works — consumers may turn to the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή, synigoroskatanaloti.gr), an independent alternative-dispute-resolution body, free of charge.
