Refund & Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026 · Version 1.1
Two separate protections apply when you buy from us: our own 7-day money-back guarantee, and — if you are a consumer in the EU — your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Whichever is more favourable to you at the time applies.
1. Our 7-day money-back guarantee
- If you are not happy with your first order for any reason, tell us within 7 days of the purchase and we refund it in full — no questions, no pro-rata deduction.
- Applies once per customer, to the first billing period of your first server. Renewals, upgrades and subsequent orders are not covered by the guarantee (your statutory rights below still apply to them where relevant).
- Request it via a support ticket from your account. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- The guarantee is void where the service was used in breach of the Terms (for example for attacks or crypto mining).
2. Your 14-day EU right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU; Greek Law 2251/1994).
- Because game servers are provisioned within minutes, at checkout you expressly request that the service starts immediately, before the 14-day period ends.
- If you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay only a proportionate amount for the days the service was provided, and we refund the rest. During the first 7 days our money-back guarantee above is more generous — a full refund — so pro-rata deduction in practice matters only from day 8.
- The right of withdrawal ends early only when the service has been fully performed — the paid billing period has fully elapsed — and you expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged at checkout that you lose the right upon full performance. We keep a record of that consent (time, order and the wording you accepted) and restate it in your order-confirmation email.
To withdraw online: use the Withdraw from the contract page — linked in the footer of every page and available throughout the withdrawal period. Enter your name, email and order or service reference, confirm on the next step, and we immediately email you an acknowledgment of receipt including the date and time you exercised the right.
You can equally withdraw with any unambiguous statement via support ticket or email to support@yiorashost.com — for example using the model form below. We confirm receipt without delay and refund within 14 days of your statement.
3. Model withdrawal form
You may use this form to withdraw, but it is not obligatory:
To: Georgios Koikas (YiorasHost), Olympionikon 19, 20200 Kiato, Korinthia, Greece, support@yiorashost.com
— I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: [service name / order number]
— Ordered on: [date]
— Name of consumer: …
— Address of consumer: …
— Signature of consumer (only if this form is notified on paper)
— Date: …
4. Renewals and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and no further invoices are issued.
- Already-paid renewal periods are not refunded pro-rata when you cancel mid-period — cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. (If a renewal charged you by surprise, open a ticket; we would rather fix it than argue.)
5. Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades are billed pro-rata for the remainder of the period; downgrades credit the difference to your account balance automatically. These plan changes are not "new orders" for the purposes of the money-back guarantee.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — refunds through a ticket are faster than a chargeback investigation. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended until the dispute is settled.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits your mandatory rights under EU or Greek consumer law, including your rights if the service does not conform to the contract. Disputes we cannot resolve together can be taken to the Greek Consumer Ombudsman — see section 17 of the Terms.
