Upgrade or downgrade your plan

Outgrew your RAM, or need less than you thought? Switch tiers any time. Your world, plugins and server address stay exactly as they are.

Upgrading

  1. Log in to the store and open your services, then click your Minecraft service.
  2. Click Upgrade and choose your new plan. You only see plans that are available right now.
  3. You'll get an invoice for the prorated difference — you pay only for the remainder of the current billing period, not a full month.
  4. After payment, everything happens automatically: your plan switches and the server's RAM, disk, CPU, backup and database limits are resized within a minute. No reinstall, no new address, no data loss.

Downgrading

  1. Same place: service page → Upgrade → pick the smaller plan.
  2. Downgrades apply instantly and the remaining value of your current plan is added to your account as credit, which is used automatically on your next invoices.
Check your disk usage first Before downgrading, look at the disk usage on your server's console page in the game panel. If your world and files are larger than the smaller plan's disk, the server may fail to start after the downgrade. Delete unused files or take a downloadable backup first.
Seeing "Coming soon" on a bigger tier? Tiers marked as coming soon are temporarily out of capacity and can't be selected yet — they'll unlock as we add hardware.
Not sure which tier fits your player count? Ask us — rough guide: 2GB ≈ 5–10 players with a few plugins, 4GB ≈ 10–25, 6GB+ for bigger communities or heavy plugin stacks.
